Common Landscaping Measurement Mistakes
Avoid the unit, depth, shape, and ordering errors that inflate project costs.
Area and volume are not interchangeable
Square feet describe a surface; cubic feet describe the space filled beneath that surface. Any material layer needs a depth before it can become a volume.
Convert once, calculate once
Mixing inches, feet, and meters mid-formula is a common source of large errors. Normalize measurements first and round only the final order quantity.
