What is gravel?
Gravel is graded natural or crushed stone used for drainage, decorative cover, driveways, and structural base courses. Angular crushed products lock together; rounded gravel moves more freely.

Should I use crushed or rounded gravel?
Angular crushed gravel interlocks and is usually better for compacted bases and driveways. Rounded gravel moves more freely and is commonly used for decorative applications and some drainage projects.
Does gravel volume change after compaction?
