What is sod?
Sod is mature turf harvested with a thin soil and root layer, providing an immediate lawn when installed on a prepared surface.
How this calculation works
Multiply the finished lawn length by its width to find the coverage area. The calculator then adds a practical 10% allowance for trimming, curved edges, fitting around landscape features, and occasional damaged pieces.
